- Strict Surveillance: Regular monitoring of hostel areas, classrooms, and campus premises to ensure student safety.

- Reporting Mechanisms: Multiple channels for students to report incidents of ragging confidentially.

Legal Framework
The Anti-Ragging policy at SGI follows the guidelines set by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Supreme Court of India. Key provisions include:
- Zero Tolerance: Any act of ragging will be treated as a criminal offense under The Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1997, and students involved may face imprisonment and fines.
- Mandatory Affidavit: All students and parents are required to submit affidavits confirming understanding of anti-ragging regulations before enrollment.
- Monitoring Committees: SGI has established Anti-Ragging Committees and Anti-Ragging Squads to proactively prevent incidents and handle complaints.
Consequences of Ragging
Students involved in ragging may face:
- Expulsion from the institute
- Cancellation of admission
- Legal prosecution under Indian Penal Code and Prohibition of Ragging Act
