Duration

The ME programme is 4 years long, offering a balanced academic and practical framework. Students explore topics such as machine design, fluid mechanics, manufacturing technologies, and energy systems. Over these years, they participate in industry visits, technical workshops, and mechanical design projects to strengthen their engineering capabilities.

Eligibility

Students must have completed 10+2 in Science with Mathematics and Physics. This academic background helps build analytical and technical reasoning skills needed to understand mechanical science concepts. Students from science streams adapt faster to mechanical engineering subjects and practical sessions

Mode

 The programme operates in full-time on-campus mode, ensuring students gain practical experience through machine labs, automation systems, manufacturing workshops, and design simulations. On-campus learning supports regular practice on tools, machines, and engineering software essential for mechanical engineers.

Internships

 Internships in automotive industries, manufacturing units, production plants, and industrial workshops help students observe real-world engineering operations. Students experience processes such as assembly, machining, thermal testing, maintenance, and quality control, which shape their professional skills and industry understanding.
